Here is a shot from last night where we gathered with Mary, another of the ex-wives of the guy who fathered all of these here chitlin's... my mom, me, Toni and Clayette..with Clayette's kids Taylor and Sydney.
These people are awesome. The laughs were plentiful, the promises of future good times made and I am quite sure I will have Clay and her husband to some east coast shows sooner than later.
Mom and I just had a tasty breakfast at out hotel and I'm off to get a shower and then the chick-fest reconvenes...

I'm happy for you that you "found" your family. Comforting. I miss all of my family back in Texas, but we've made a life out here and Tucson is home.
