After a day of sadness mixed with lots to be done, when all was said and done I had a bunch of gratitude in my heart and head.
Grateful for the space for love to keep flowing when people leave this planet, and for the ever closer to "the present moment" it gives me glimpses of.
And today my gratitude is bursting at the seems for my dear friends Tania and Ashley who are getting married today in Tucson. To know them and to have seen their love be so real and so right.
The show last night had a good crowd and I think that Amy's appearance on XPN that morning did some good as far as boosting attendance. We hung out with one of the partners from the venue and a couple of Amy's pals till about 2am.
We are catching the effects of "Nor-Ida" as the weather channels here are naming merging the parts of hurricane Ida and a Nor'easter that is colliding.
I am channeling The Weather Hamlin as I get my road weather update for the morning.
Wet....cold....grey.
