One of the best culinary discoveries I have made is goat milk butter.. It makes toast superb! If that toasty substance is locally crafted artisan bread, it makes the experience earth shatteringly fantastic! My pal Juliette not only donated foccacia bread for the show this past Friday, but she gave me the most incredible jalapeno topped bread... Oh... My... Gawd! It's got a definite kick!
It was intended to be shared with my overnight guests, but that never happened, so... MORE FOR ME! Such simple things... so much pleasure! And today is a day to gather more things up to donate to the Humane Society when I get up to Tucson later today or tomorrow... I didn't make my deadline to have my stuff out of storage by the end of December... so I am hoping maybe by the end of Feb. Get it out... get it gone.
It was a really good weekend... and this week holds some more training for this jobby thing I am embarking on. There is possibility swirling around and it's fueled by caffeine, delicious toasty foccacia, and some full hearted goodness..
