I started off my morning with some Pretenders. A long time favorite of mine in fact one of my tops. I was devastated all those years ago when Pete Farndon and James Honeyman Scott died... Chrissie Hynde is a goddess.

I really loved the new album. I bought it immediately. Still a big fan. And she hasn't lost it. Nor has Martin Chambers on drums.. I am slightly distracted by how the bass player is a bit of a doppelganger for Pete Farndon. At least from a distance. All these years later there is still a sadness for those guys overdosing.. damn drugs.
My experience of steaming is one of a painful desire to attempt to watch something that stops and starts so much you almost forget you are watching. But the desire to watch outweighs the quality of the hideously bad stolen internet connection I am grateful for every day.
It's freaking cold out there.. 24 this morning. Happy to report a toasty 52 inside. This day is all about getting a few episodes of Six Feet Under watched and then I have no idea. Yesterday's flurry of calls and emails went unanswered so this holiday weekend is wide open.
Enjoy The Pretenders if you choose to watch the video. It's a full concert from Sydney Australia from 2010. I know I did. It just took me a helluva lot longer to view than it will anyone else. But it was worth it to me.
