This circle represents so much..
Healthy.
Delish.
Sprouted.
Another vessel for a ton of garlic.
And made early this morning at what will be now know as Hummus:30.
Sprouting the beans took almost 4 days safely semi-warmed in the confines of the oven with the pilot light to keep the younguns from possibly freezing on the kitchen counter. Organic garbanzos are affordable in dry form and then you don't have to worry about the BPA from the can. There is a distinct crispness to the hummus... and it tastes far beyond outrageously good! It's not my ability... it was clearly the sprouting of the beans!
Oh my.. I seriously doubt I will ever make regular hummus ever again.
Now THAT is what I call a good start to the day!
Don't for one second think I did this before stout coffee... it was a kinda loud night here as the wind was like a freight train and it took me waking up at about 1 and needing to hunt down a pair of earplugs from my tour manager gear bag. The wind here really does feel like it's gonna lift the house off it's "lawsuit funded foundation" at times like this. It can really get going, and it's kind of fun to watch debris fly past the front window when the gusts get up around 50 or so mph.
Next up is a quick trip to the store to get coffee filters and a pineapple which is primarily for Gretchen, but I'll be grabbing a bite or two for sure. Then it's time to do a couple email follow-ups from yesterday and keep moving simply forward.
