Good Morning!
We just finished yet another morning of "Eggs El-Frida" for bfast, and Trina is busily typing away her answers for the interview-y thin for the Columbus paper. The show last night at the Living Room went INCREDIBLE!!!Trina, Babs and I ventured out into the night... The Hamiltons put on a show that was pure goodness... I don't mean from a relious sense.. more from a well rounded musically fabulous, funny, and just great vibe in general. The room was filled to capacity with people bobbing their heads, tapping feet and during "Toungue Tied" absolute stillness.. very sweet. All of those gals are so freakin talented!! If you don't know them.. it's Trina Hamlin,Nini Camps,Marilyn D'Amato and AK Healey. Don't miss a show if you are in the NYC area. Keep an eye peeled. Each of the performers.. (except Marilyn, who apparently didn't NEED the dollar I offered her to play..)does an original tune and the band backs them. All of them seemed to have an awful lot of fun, and the crowd response was fantastic! After that, we went to some place that makes crepes and had a crepe-a-ganza of snackage. We were joined by Meredith and Woj and they added a special fun element to the mix... really kickass people.
I also have to mention that we popped in on Rachael Sage's show at the Rockwood, and once again, she looked fabulous ( she is going to be a goddess in Japan when she tours there!!) and of the 5 songs we got to hear, it was a great show! I will be posting video from all of the above happenings after I get it edited. That may take place from El Frida as we are needing to move her by 11:30 and head north. Should have it up by this evening.
We have to skeedaddle now...pack the Frida... and go see Bunty for the first leg of the journey on the way to Maine.

hey, i got good audio from the hamiltons show. except for missing the first song (nin's) and half the second (ak's). you guys interested?
What a great show! Have seen Nini a couple of times, and always love her music. The Hamiltons was great. A nice variety of music styles, lots of fun for them and us. Can't wait to catch them again, and some solo stuff too!
See ya around Philly or NY!
