The backlog of video is already becoming an issue.. I am misplacing labels for tapes and forgetting things. Must be my old age. Yeah, that's it! We were in Chicago at The Hard Rock Cafe for the MPress Records benefit. This label put together a compilation cd to raise money for world hunger, and they assembled some awesome talent! On the bill are Ralston Bowles,Trina Hamlin,Rachael Sage and The Sequins, Mieka Pauley,and Todd Carey.The vid that follows is them in that order. Great show... wonky sound. Not my fault.
Pick up a copy of the New Arrivals cd at a Trina Hamlin show as we are now carrying them too... We are also willing to sell you some Susan Werner cd's as we are schlepping some of them back with us as well. But of course, my main sales objective is Trina's stuff. I have loved all the music I have heard in the brief time we have been out, and I am grateful as hell for this opportunity. I am getting the hang of the flow to Trina's shows now. And I am looking forward to reconnecting with Jane Paul and Susan Werner on Sunday as well as getting to see my dear friends Cathryn Matthes, the most amazing chef I know from S.C. and Jessie Cocks from PA who will be at the King of Prussia show.
Big ol' shoutout to the gang in Bisbee AZ, as they host Apocalypse Theater and Harsh Reality tonight at El-Change-O. Im sorry to miss that one.. but I am thrilled that Bisbee is having so much amazing music going on these days. I love you guys...

By the way.. Trina is feeling damn near 100% and her nickname, "Mucosa" will have to go by the wayside.
