While I sit and look out on the Chicago skyline, I'm very aware of a few things. I haven't missed watching t.v., my phone is somewhat useless alot of the time, I hate not having a strong internet connection when I want to upload what could be one of the silliest videos I have ever had the plaesure of filming, and I am literally in a fishbowl as at least 1000 apartments/condos can look in on me in the livingroom and see me sitting initially in the dark working on the computer. I guess they could say the same as I could be watching them as well if I weren't invested heavily in my crazy video stuff. And if I had binoculars..
I am on my own for the next few days... it feels weird to be here alone, but at the same time I'm really am in a good quiet space and am looking forward to a easy drive to Columbus in the morning after coffee at Fox and Obel. Just got the text that T and Susan have landed safely... always a plus! Funny thing... texting. Apparently the corn we got for them was most excellent and Trina made Susan eat hers raw on the plane. Fun! It's still an undigestible and strangely corporate food, corn is. I had no idea. Shoutouts to my dear pal Barb Curry in Milford, and Lizzy, Ashley and Tania in The Baked Pueblo. Tania's beautiful daughters are doing junior roller derby practice... how cool of a mom is she ???? And speaking of moms...
