Phil..

Phil is a turkey. Actually Phil is a demonic turkey.I don't know if all turkeys are this evil... but he is really antagonistic and freaky. I have had a couple of run-ins with Phil, and I am scarred for life. While I didn't lose an eye or anything, it's a creepy feeling to have a bird stalking you. I shot some video of one of my encounters with Phil, and while neither one of us laid a wing on the other, I'm quite sure we were both very ill-intentioned... I won't be posting it, its not really fit for broadcast. In any matter of speaking.

I will post a pick of Phil in the next couple of days so you can see this bird and judge for yourself. Other than that, the time here has been great! Have spent the whole day cooking, cleaning up, and getting a very brief lap swim in Urbana, Ohio fit in before a sloppy-joe fest back at the camp. The weather threatened nasty this morning but it's beautiful now... Trina made shortcakes and Erin (one of our fab hostesses..)and I went provisioning for heavy cream to whip for strawberry shortcake for the adults. The day at camp consisted of the kids working on the songs they wrote to get ready for a performance on Saturday for their families. They are also working on " An Inconvenient Truth" by Melissa Etheridge as a group thing. They are working hard, and some are really taking to playing guitar and bass and drums with a real passion. That's sooo cool! It's sweet to see it all happening.

I am getting ready to go down and serve the goodies for Trina, Erin, Tracy, and Susie. It's been a really good day.

So....I'm thinking that Wen and Phil having a big stare-down would make for good vid? I think you should reconsider and post it!

Annemarie... we did have a stare-down.. but I had my plastic cap gun as my weapon and I fear nasty feedback if I actually put it up... but I do have 2 veeeeery closeup vids of me talking to Phil down the barrel of my capgun.
