So Trina says to me....

This morning the very first sentence Trina says to me is, ' You know what Layton ? Today you are gonna see a lot of corn.' I laughed. She is a good egg... You know what that means, don't you ? That's right!! Iowa!!! Home to Leslie Hall, and corn.... This will be the motherlode of Corn Reporting. We have a soybean report with a guest reporter to upload and 2 more corn reports...all this BEFORE Iowa.

The show last night ROCKED!!! Not only did she give 'em the Hamlin Haze, but Venus and Lynette came...as did Jan Elfman and Harrod Blank from the art car scene!!Gretchen had me call Jan, who I'd met in Bisbee to invite her, and so she brought Harrod who had just flown in for the Carsoup Art Car Fest in Minneapolis!! He lives in Bisbee!! Crazy stuff!!! We have been at several parties together but never really chatted. I love this job. So many good things and incredible experiences. I would never have thought I'd be on a path like this. I guess gratitude is my mindset right now. I bet after all is said and done tonite.... I dream of corn.
