Ok... the back is about 90% ish... so I am feeling pretty good! Have some loose ends to tie up still for Europe in a week and a half as I am trying to get us to Italy as well. We have alot on deck as soon as T gets back from Montana.Lots of little things need attention, and I am aware of needing to sharpen my skills to make sure more is handled sooner. That would have me doing a really good thing for T as she has enough on her plate as it is. I am camped by the Long Island Sound in a wondeful home with good friends, and am looking forward to making salads, chats over coffee, laughter and catching up in general with my CT peeps. Really jazzed about seeing Vange and Laurie on Tuesday... that should be alot of fun! Really having alot of gratitude for all the wonderful people in my world. I love the quality of my life today. And I am by the water... I realized yesterday morning in Sandwich MA that I had never strolled out into the sand with a mug of coffee from the house in my boxers/tshirt to be at the water's edge before... it struck me that I was doing two of my fave things at once and it had never occurred before. I don't know what lasting effect that'll have on me.. but I do know that the moment of recognition of that event is in my heart and mind so vividly that I feel totally at peace. I guess the ability to just go with the flow is indeed yeilding alot of unexpected treasures.
THe other funny thing was that when we left Sandwich, T had a cuppa joe, and a small plate of cookies.. yes... the wonderful cookies... and we had a really fun/jacked up on caffeine drive back to CT with virtually no traffic! I love it when that happens. We even got gas for $2.75 in Rhode Island.. which is cheap. It's the silly little things that make all of the difference.
Hey... it's my usual Sunday supper nite with K and J in Tucson... sometimes I just call and ask what's for supper so they don't forget me. Does that make me weird ? I loved going over every Sun. nite to be with them... good peeps... My Feast pals ( hi Molly!!) get to see them still... but who is bringing the Feast Choc. Truffle cookies to them every Sunday now that I'm not around??
Ok... need a snack... got to go to a Trader Joe's today, so I am headed for some wasabi peas!
