We knda have the day off of alot of activities. Alot of our group cis out with their kids at various playgrounds, and T and I are here catching up on internet stuff... she is working and I.... well... I'm blogging and catching up on my trashy gossip. There is a chance of going paddling in the canals around Hamburg today (weather allowing..) and then a big dinner to celebrate Dan's birthday. We will go back to a place called Bok in the groovy neighborhood that was like Haight Ashbury. We had kickass Tom Kha Gai soup there and it should be well suited for a group of 15 or so with kids.
The conversations have been swirling about Trina coming back... and with any luck, the 2008 World Tour will be spectacular! We have the greatest lawyre in all of Hamburg sponsoring her already... and he lives his life surrounded by the nicest people! He's like the mayor of this neighborhood!! He knows everyone!
And as always... I need more espresso so I am off to the cafe to do another shot and then to the market to grab a few big bottles of water and some apples. I like the market... loads of cool packaging and weird items... like curry flavored ketchup... which I WILL be purchasing to bring back.

Whoa, I miss a few days of this blog and you're tearing up Germany, having one of my fave soups in the world and once again, making me envious of the travels! I would love to try curry-flavored ketchup. I wonder if they've got that at 17th St.? I'm gonna go find out...maybe now...if I can figure out how to get past the 4th Ave. underpass construction, that is! "Fahrt" IS funny if you're American!
