Gnomes as curb feelers... or telephone pole feelers in my case...

I decapitated Gale our bumper gnome today. Took him out as I was backing the van out to repark it. Damn... I will post photos shortly. I will be doing before and after... "before" being the 2 very distinct pieces that came off the van..and his legs which are still gaff-taped to it... and the hopefully "after" photos of Gale sporting his swanky new gaff-tape body cast that will hopefully enable him to make the rest of the journey with this tour. No other gnomes or plants were injured during the backing of the vehicle. Here is an artists rendering of the incident. This image is rated PG13... no small child should have to witness this....
