So.. Trina got her tmobile bill from her time in Germany.
It was startling!!! Because she read the New York Times on her PDA and all of the data from the site was so huge and she got charged per megabyte that the bill was unfreakin' believably HUGE!!!!
DO NOT SURF WEB NEWS OR SITES FROM YOUR PHONE WHEN IN EUROPE!!!!!

PLEASE tell me that she at least had a local SIM card so that huge-ass bill wasn't for phone calls, too.
Because I can feel sympathy for the data oopsie. But if you go overseas and think you can use your cell phone just like you're at home, well ... let's just say that karma's a boomerang. :}
Either way, that really, really sucks. :(
it was data as far as we can tell.. but they said she could still be billed for up to 3 months later because sometimes it takes the carriers that long to report charges... yikes!!!
I must interject...with my injection sore arms! I'm pretty sure it should be a data issue...I made it a point to NOT use the phone...yes, it scared me but apparently i had NOOOO idea the size of the NY Times online. In fact I even turned off the photos...I guess that doesn't mean they don't download????HELP!!!!!
OY to the nth degree.
