We have essentially been working all day, even though I have been in a low-chi haze. I was really off-kilter and quieter all day but I managed to get some good stuff accomplished in the way of strategy and organizing in my brain. It takes alot of planning to push an artist forward and route them in a fashion that makes sense. Having just put over 15,000 miles on El-Frida in less than 5 months, routing is a very important item to look at when booking tours. Right now we are having some spirited discussions around all things 2008 tour schedule and I have lingering sumthun in my bonnet from the earlier part of my day that has me still a little "colorful" in my wording and sentence-making skills. There has been some tourettes-like outbursts of profanity and crassness as well as an occasional smile. Trina on the other hand has been really goofy all day and we have actually played well off of each other. It's been good.
Everyday is a learning experience and what I learned today is that I don't want to lose faith in the goodness of people. This is most likely the most serious post I've had in a loooong time. But truth be told, that's the way the day stacked up for me so that's what gets to be blogged about.
