Well.. with any luck, in the next (now 21 minutes and 41 seconds..) I will possibly have uploaded that video I started trying to put up from yesterday. I still have no idea why it's not working but it seems to be an issue with a mac computer and youtube. So, I will have to consult the masters.
19:57 to go...
I had that damn video attempting to upload no less than 6 times yesterday... and nothing doing. Had to jump on another computer.
18:59....god this is sloooooow!
So the sea birds are squaking their morning sounds and I am making a list of calls to make today so they are a welcome chorus compared to the sound of uncomfortable calls needing to be made that I am formulating in my head.. I have to deal with the cancellation of that festival over the weekend in Brockton and sadly it sounds like the promoters are looking to not pony up any $$ even though it would appear they are contractually obligated to.
I need to talk to some really smart people then make the uncomfy calls...
15:34....and waiting waiting waiting.
It's cooler and quite nice and breezy out this morning. I guess some thanks to Hurricane Bill are in order for the shift... but I did hear about that horrible incident in Maine where those people were swept out to sea while watching the storm... Yikes!
It was a sweet weekend. Met some really great people and got to hang with one of my fave peeps from Chicago who flew in for the show. We kept each other company out in the audience as we watched those seriously talented people do what they do.
11:12 cricket....cricket....
There is no way I can make posting this blog take as long as this video upload is going to take! I feel like I need a nap already! Shite!
And I do not type that fast so these posts CAN take a while for me to get out there!
Oh! But I do want to recap last night.
9:52....and the slowest video upload is still sloooooooooooow.....
We went to a club to hear Colleen Sexton and Kellie Lin Knott and had a great time listening to the sounds of two women who have a wonderful groove... they played on each others stuff a few times... and Trina jumped up and added some serious sizzle.. and it was the perfect end to a sweet day. Trina dropped me off in Milford at about 1:30 this morning...
7:33... Judas Priest! I think I just sprouted a gray hair!
I will say this... I am fortunate that I even HAVE another option to get this uploaded. I am a spoiled brat when it comes to technology... I have very little patience. And it's not so much for youtube.. it's my own lack of knowledge that is the most frustrating.
5:25...will....it...ever...upload.....
Ok.
This blog post is done. With any luck the next one (which you will see before this one..) will be that damn video.
4:11... over and out...

Good luck dealing with the festival mess. Generally if an event is cancelled for any reason other than "Act of God" within 30 days of the date, the artist is owed at least 50% of what they were supposed to get for the gig. That's how those types of contracts usually work...
