Hmmm....

Late starts.. seem to be the norm these last few days.

I have been preoccupied with work.. trying to keep my mind from worrying about my mom. The good piece of news on that is that the doctors are in no rush apparently as one consultation is Dec 5th and the other Jan. 7th (or something like that..) So, as my pal KK so smartly pointed out to me "the blockage has been there they just now found it..." so my knee jerk reaction to rush to my mother is so much more about wanting her to know I am sooooo there for her. I guess I'll be booking a flight after Winterbloom.

I am in the first phase of making my newly named "Lime Jell-o Fish Ate My Brain" in a jell-o mold... I have to carefully insert the brain in about 45 minutes... I hope it turns out good. I am bringing odd green things to the gathering that I am attending. The aforementioned jell-o mold, palek paneer, and maybe some rubbed kale salad. I got ahold of some pretty fresh kale at the store this morning and I enjoyed the batch I had last week... so may I should try to spread the kale laden goodness. I am listening to the Brixton Boogie cd right now... probably one of the best compilation cd's I have had in the last few years. Well rounded and hip but not offensive. My musical tastes are so far from hip it hurts... but I do know good music when I hear it.
