The $h!t storm of chaos...

It's been a rough week over here for sure. And yesterday's addition was that it looked like my phone was gonna crap out. I had just about had it. We ventured all the way to the only Tmobile store in this area and they wiped my phone clean and were able to restart it. I was out of touch there for about a day.

And do you know what that means?

More photos gone... forever.

I am not meant to be looking to hang onto anything these days except my sanity and whatever grace I can muster at any given moment. We officially heard back from the insurance man from England.. they WILL cover my computer since I am basically living here. Had I been an overnight guest,  I woulda been S.O.L..

Now it's just dealing with the loss of the data on it. And a very harsh lesson on why I need to back up my files. Today comes with the sounds of Led Zeppelin "That's The Way" playing in the background and a nice stout cup of coffee to chase my tylenol down with. I'm making kapama tonight... we need to evoke the bestest of the best and the tastiest of the loving dishes I offer. As we get ready to shift into working mode on Saturday. I am resting my back up as much as I can... so I don't re-injure it. I am a bad patient for the most part... I hate not being able to do everything. But it's a bad injury and not being able to move was terrifying.

I take over the houseboat today, but really cannot move well enough to be on it moving anything in as of yet. I am going to be very sad to leave the spacepod... and if it weren't me moving towards such a major dream/goal of mine (since I really don't set goals..) I wouldn't be leaving this place. Even with the robbery this week, it's still a very healing place for me. I hope the boat will be an amazing thing too. Not being totally mobile and flexible, has me cautiously optimistic. I'll prolly get some things on it after the weekend. And it'll be great once I am recovered from the injury.

And then... for my first bit of time on the boat, a huge fishing tourney is happening at the marina on June 1st and there will be folks from all over the place down there to do whatever the hell you do at a fishing tournament...should be very interesting. I need to find a couple of foldy chairs for sitting on the dock and the front of the boat. I have a feeling morning coffee will be taking place watching the very swift current bustle things along.

Note to self...
Get a floaty thing for keys...
