So... the Harbormaster was great when I called to ask again if someone could please come down to give me a professional opinion on my stenchy dilemma, he then said nobody told him I had asked for help a bit earlier. Oops.
Anyhow, he comes right down, knocks on the door, and as I go outside..I notice the stench has dissipated.
Of course... 2 1/2 days of unbelievable odor..I finally ask for and get help.. and it's dislodged itself.
Problem solved.
Felt like an ass for a nano second, but was glad it was over to be honest. And I established myself as a totally inept houseboater who would be asking questions and eager to learn.I'll just fool myself into thinking I did a good job on putting a positve spin on this.
