Oh if only I had internet down at the boat!

With the afternoon off I ventured into the land of caulk. More specifically, the preparation to do some major caulking and one slightly ominous epoxy patch using my first serious boat repair products.

Ummm... the epoxy?  It's almost 50 bucks a cup!

I know.. I know... boats are one project after another and they are never finished. I see that before my eyes. And I heard the horror stories about $250.00 per gallon paint. And how the cost of everything is tripled.

It's all true.

But I'm living on a boat, dammit! It has it's challenges (everywhere I look) but it's still floating!

At least today it is! And all we really have is today, so I'll be grateful. I have some ideas, none of them very thought out... (how "me of me") so they must need to ferment like a batch of kombucha.

Be grateful for what you have and the people that love you... that's my mantra right now.

Having lived on a raft for a couple years, I say, don't bother buy the marine grade stuff. Your boat ins only regular plywood after all.
