Had a nice coffee klatch with Cathryn on the Smelly Cat today. We haven't really spent any time socially together since the yo shop opened and I moved onto the floater. It was quite nice... I have missed her input and friendship a great deal.
Good friends are soooo important!
Today I have a little Folky Mc Folkerson going on in here for shop music. Currently, Susan Werner... soon to be Willy Porter to be followed up by Antje Duvekot then maybe some Annabelle Chvostek.
Sweet sounds for a super hot-n-humid day out there..
I feel lighter... emotionally. I'm starting to really take some care with myself ( admitting that I am ready to go back to AZ, talking things out with a therapist, making amends..) all of these things lead me closer to the balance I seek to have back in my life.
Balance..
I wonder... as an alcoholic... with my wacky black or white thinking...
Have I ever REALLY had any balance?

Sounds like you had a nice afternoon, great you deserve that! Just back from Sorcerer's Apprentice, and really enjoyed it! It rained when we got home, but already stopped. Love this AZ place and can't wait until you are back her too!
