Here is what I know. I'm not bad at living on a boat. And having a space of my own has been a very interesting and good thing even though it hasn't quite felt like home. It's more home than I've had since last February when my Bisbee house got tipsy. I like the Smelly Cat, I wouldn't have moved onto it if I didn't.. and the truth is...
It's not where my heart is. Hilton Head is not where my heart is.
I love Cathryn so much, and I love helping her...and the yo shop is going gangbusters and it's fun. And if I don't get off my ass and get some things put together for my future..I am going to be in a hideously sad state. So, I will be here a couple more months and then I'm gonna go back to Bisbee, and start anew. I have no idea how to really stay a viable resource in the music biz... but I want that very much. I want happiness and community more than anything. I want to make difference. Can I make a difference handing people yo?
Yes.. because I'm feeding people something not only delish, but healthy. Can I help foster an attitude of fun and frivolity here? Absolutely! The music is often highlarious in here when I have my ipod fired up! But I need to face my demons (real and imagined) and clean up my shit. My house in AZ should be liveable by Sept. \
I intend to be there.
I intend to bring music I love to the region.
I intend to help create amazing and creative things.
And as soon as it materializes, I will get back out on the road. As a healthy and stable human being.
This is not only what I intend, but it is my declaration!

That sounds like a good plan. Bisbee needs you, I'm sure!! :)
We're currently putting together a Southwestern run in mid-November, and Tucson is on the to-get-to list ... if there's anything you think you might be able to do to help us line up something there, let me know. We'd also come to Bisbee if anything were to avail itself...
