Status.

Dunno if you can see, but here is the SS Smelly Cat this morning. She's still a watery tilt-a-whirl (without the whirl) and I am taking a moment for coffee before I fire up the shop vac this am.

Both bilge pumps are working, but in timed increments automatically...instead of running nonstop till the hold is void of water. Much to my dismay.

Yes... I'm drinking coffee while my boat looks like it struck an iceberg and is going down. It didn'd sink overnight, so it's probably not going to sink at all. It just looks like the trashy crooked crack house on the block.

Wait... it kinda looked like that before without the crooked.

Oh well... I have a light attitude about it and I am trying to think of water themed songs to listen to while I shop vac water outta this magilla.

Sitting here on the wee couch that feels like it's locked in a forward position. Slept on a blowup mattress on the wee couch....put 2 blocks of wood under each of the front sofa legs to make it more level so I wouldn't roll off it.

Of course I didn't sleep for shit but I was keenly reminded of the fact that I'm "Livin' my dream of living on a boat !" As I'm listening to the sound of the small bilge pump underneath me pump out about 3 cups of water and then stop and wait for it's next cycle.

So, what is the glass half full way of looking at this?

That's 3 cups less that I have to shop vac out.

This may be a stupid question, but ... do you know where the bilge pump timer control is? Can you turn off the timer portion so you can have it run continuously for a while?

Good luck bilging ... :}

and that's 3 cups each...so, 6 cups total with the 2 running!
