Hopefully it's lodged there and not moving till the tide goes back out. That's a ton of reeds and would be nasty to extract from between the floater and the dock.
Several of the boats moored out there have huge islands of reeds tangled in their mooring and anchor lines. What a mess!
I have about 1/4 of my gas money for the trip back to The Bis of Bee saved up. It's a combination of tip money and actual pay. I never thought I'd be living so lean on about 100.00 a month for food. But I'm making it okay. And it's time to send more dough to AZ for things like Tmobile and therapy. Both things are pretty much my lifeline to sanity so they are well worth it.
My time on the floater these days is quiet and somewhat simple. I'd gotten some more creative caulking/weatherproofing done the other day so now I'll wait to see if I have handled the back door /indoor water feature. Am I actually hoping it rains? No, not so much.
As far as liveaboard life goes, I can defintely appreciate the beauty that surrounds me and I am soothed by the constant gentle motion. And aside from the 29 or so seagulls pooping all over the deck and the loud and mighty storms, it's not a hideous place to hang my hat.
I'd say "hang my visor" but I sent my visor to Gretchen.
