Rain stopped..time for music.

So, the rain came and went. No leaky door knob.

Must be time for some music. I have decamped from the floater and am back up at the marina for some wi-fi. I just felt the need for internet. I HATE not having easy access to it!!!

I started out with some Laura Marling. And then found one of my new faves "Lissie" has her new album "Catching a Tiger" streaming on the KCRW (Los Angeles) website. Great for me! I have been waiting for the release of her new effort on Fat Possum Records that is dropping on Aug. 17th.

I caught her with The Low Anthem in Atlanta.. it was a big deal for me. I loved her whole show and seems she is building some serious steam over in Europe where her new cd is already out and charting well! The new cd has a more produced feel to it than her previous EP. But it's well done. And she's got some pipes! Let me tell you, she was spot on when I saw her live!  She tours with a band most of the time and they are tight! A definite must of she comes to your area.
