I am kinda proud to say I think my weather stripping efforts have finally paid off! Happy about that. It was no torrential downpour though.
I'm celebrating today.
It's my AA bday today. And that I survived the last year is a testament to how the program works if you work it. It's a miracle I stayed sober with all that went on. I always pay attention when folks with a bit of time go back out. I have watched many people. Go back out...and most don't make it back into the rooms of AA. The ones that do have stories of how they went right back to their old behavior.. and most lost nearly everything. And if they all say they stopped going to meetings and stopped reaching out. I'm guilty of that on occasion...
Good to take notice of... and get to a meeting.
I did make it to this overcast and steamy morning. I am covering for Cathryn who is headed for some well deserved R & R in Charleston.
If you knew I was counting days..you noticed I stopped counting yesterday. It's because I think I'm heading out of here a week from today.
My house in Bisbee isn't quite fixed...another week or two on that and the carpenter still has to do some work structurally. But I hope to spend a couple days in Tucson while we arrange to get the utilities reconnected to the house.
And the boat?
A. Turn it into a reef ?
B. Donate to charity?
C. Keep up the shrines and stuff hoping for a sale?
D. Severely discount and hope someone bites?

I'd say price is a couple thousand less and push, push push around town. Flyers handed out to friends, harbor master, etc. perhaps a big sign on your van. Good luck and see you soon!
