I'm going to be cooking this week.
I know I'll be making kapama and kale chips as well as salad dressing. I am so happy to make and share food. In fact, we are doing a curry party for 8 people on Friday with the curry from the culinary feat we pulled off in December that had us making enough curries for a few households for the next couple years! Some things just taste so good!
Take hummus for example. I make a great batch of that! And as I was on the phone last night with Mothership One she complimented me on the hummus I had made and left in the fridge for her. That's all fine and dandy till you realize...
I never made hummus over there.
As bizarre as it sounded... and as perplexing as it is to my brain... whatever the hell she ate did not come from me, did not make her sick, and brought her tastebuds a treat.
And it brought us both a bunch of smiles and laughter over the phone as I blamed my dearly departed godmother Irene, for somehow placing hummus in my mother's fridge.
Your brilliant theories and comments on this hummus thing are very welcome.
