window shopping for eco friendly goods.

This is proving to be a chore. And I'm finding that I should have looked for these things long ago when I still had money. They really are pricey. I am looking at the flip side as far as what I can get too. I will probably end up with a stackable washer/dryer and not the green choice washer/dryer combo in one unit. Not only are they not readily available... they are close to 1500.00!!
YIKES!

Having exhausted most of the green resource places in Tucson I am making calls on conventional units now.

Had tearful reunions with my dear friend Amber this morning... and saw wedding pictures from her delicious ceremony this past June. Love her... love her man... gorgeous couple! And where she and I met up for breakfast yielded another tearful reunion... The Legendary Candace from Franks. She has always been one of the most abrupt, intimidating, rude and surly waitresses in this region... and I love the hell out of her! My favorite moment was the time she walked up to a table I was seated at... and she said,"Let's have it!" The people I was with were so startled (deer in the headlights) that they hesitated and she turned and walked away... we didn't see her again for 10 minutes. I found it funny as hell as I knew her... my friends found it less than pleasing. When she came back, you can bet they had their orders ready to go.

I have a feeling she'll be popping down to Bisbee to visit once I get settled. That will be hilariously fun! And we have a bunch of catching up to do. I have a little more research to do on washers then I think the rest of the day is going to be spent going thru things I'll be getting rid of.

Remember... 551 square feet and 2 houses full of stuff...
WILL NOT HARBOR ANY PEACE OF MIND!!!
