It's been a helluva day!

Day started with Tin Cup Gypsy men in every corner of my house fast asleep. Shhhh.. don't wake them!
But I had to wake them... I needed my coffee dammit! They needed my coffee too. I cooked breakfast and wished them well and they set off towards Safford. Good people, good band check them out for sure! Then it was time to discover that my phone has died... no longer just unable to ring... just dead. Not to be resuscitated.

As I fall further and further out of constant touch, at least I can laugh at the whole thing.. (from behind my tears) and know that I still have .74 cents of credit on skype and that should be good for a couple calls if they are needed. (motherf$%^&r!) We shall see what happens.

The rest of the day was spent with Meredith and Rachael Sage and the 2 (adult)  boys.. Woj (Meredith's guy) and Dave (the uber smart cellist) . Extreme goodness at every turn and I got to dust off a camera and go shoot some video. I miss playing with my camera... I need to do it more often. And then it was trying and failing to find Gretchen to join us all for a bite and lots of laughs. Bummer... she and Rachael had very fun conversation the other night and I had looked forward to hearing more. But it was not meant to be.

and...incredibly happy with the gift of getting to be around good people.

It's the time of year to look for gratitude stuff... I got mine. And these days it really is about keeping it simple.
