Last night in Bisbee.

Starlight Lounge.

The crowd showed up downstairs at Cafe Roka and devoured the beautiful and delicious food the Rod and his crew put forth. It was served buffet style and the Goddess Lady herself, Miss Julia did a great job of fending off the ravenous culture seeking show-goers that turned out for the sold out Tom Russell show.

Tom Russell was fantastic and very entertaining. We had people fly in from all over the place including the U.K. , and we had people DRIVE from Wisconsin even! Incredible! And very encouraging to see the excitement around all kinds of music in this tiny town. Bill Carter has a good in with some awfully good music folks... and it serves this town quite well. Shawnee ran some sound last night and that room just sparkled! They (Sally and crew) did a stupendous job of lighting the room and the whole thing was just wonderful! All of those cowboys from Portal definitely had a good time hootin' and hollerin' and even singing along...

Now I'm just sitting here with my 3rd cuppa jolene which is Old Bisbee Roaster's "Bali Kintamani" streaming KBRP as Rachael Sage will be doing an interview at 9 and this should be good! You can hear it by clicking this link KBRP LINK keep in mind the time difference!

It's also my buddy Noah's 200th radio show on his morning program called "The B Train" and he's one of my fave KBRP DJ's. Let's hear it for small town radio and awesome musicians who come through and make our lives brighter!

Next up Rachael Sage at Starlight Lounge TONITE!!! Show is at 8:30 pm and it's free with a cash bar!
She plays tomorrow at Conrad Wilde Gallery in Tucson at 7 pm too!
