A tasty trip to Nicaragua.

Old Bisbee Roasters... you make me smile.

Your Nicaraguan coffee is a great start to my morning, even though the bag is now very much empty. There was one perfectly sized grinder full for the perfect pot of coffee.  This coffee will be missed.

I have a couple tomatillos ripening up on a freezing cold window sill, and the sun is getting ready to pop up from behind the mountain. A little WFUV streaming over the airwaves makes for some good sounds to putter around the kitchen and get ready for the making of the kale chips as my morning kitchen time fun. I have 2 lovely heads of kale to transform. I attempted vegan mac and cheese last night but screwed up the consistency and was not wanting to put a bunch more corn starch in to thicken. It tasted good.. but was more like shells and gooey soup.

Mom, guess what I'm bringing up to Tucson?  (hint: gooey soup)

I gotta send up a huge thanks again to whoever it is who has the super great open internet connection that has been gracious enough to see my computer on their network and not lock me out... you are giving me great amounts of entertainment and sanity. Thank you...whoever you are.
