58 pages.

I don't read much.

Maybe that's because I am too busy doing other things, but it's never been a big draw. I'm pretty sure the last book I read was either Grace Slick's autobiography or that Water for Elephants book. For the most part, I would read things that are improvement-y in nature... but if I am going to read for real pleasure, it's an autobiography that really flips my switch.

I cracked open Patti Smith's autobiography "Just Kids" today on the porch. I am now 58 pages from finishing it. Not since Dominic Dunne's "Another Country Not My Own" have I tore through a book like this. And with the latter, I was on a beach in Maui for 11 days and had a silly amount of time on my hands and loved Dominic Dunne's writing in Vanity Fair.

Funny... I'm not much of a reader till I am interested and then I guess I do ok!

And it was about 82 degrees on the porch today! A nice day off with me not venturing off the porch or off the property all day/nite.

I loved that book! And I love Patti Smith, she's amazing! Going to the baked Pueblo with Gretchen today and will be hanging with Bombshelter too. Should be alot of fun. I'll make it to POCO later this week, can't wait for the deliciousness.

That book is AMAZING. Really makes me look at NYC in a new way.
