70's and 80's deliciousness in my ears.

Well, Pandora (on the interwebs) is doing a fine job of making me smile with my "Hall and Oats" station spanning the 70's and 80's for tunes. Say what you will about not getting to hear exactly what you want when you want it, I think Pandora has done a great job of filling my heed with good music... and loads of new stuff.

And until Spotify makes it to the internet in the USA, I will be doing Pandora. And I may have Pandora after Spotify shows up, if that ever happens!. (Mom, those are websites that allow streaming music at your fingertips..)

My kitchen is a disaster zone from all the plumbing fiascos that happened here... silly me, I never looked in the laundry room to see if anything was moist!

Oops!

Moist? How about soaked through the floor and dripping down under the house through the insulation? I will say it again, my contractor who did the bulk of the work on this house is a standup guy. He has taken such good care of me and for not much money all things considered. Heaters have been shifted to the laundry room to try to dry it out and prevent mold from growing and I will say yet another wacky thing  in 3...2...1... "Heat in the kitchen feels odd and wonderful!"

While searching the blogs this morning for useless yet intriguing pieces of information... I came across this picture and the attached article :

They are talking about the U.K. in the article which can be seen HERE !! CLICK ME DAMMIT!

But gee, after you give that article a once over... think that is limited to just the U.K.?

Think again.

I was a little ruffled this morning thinking about greed. So, let me shift to another piece of information I recieved night before last over a cup of tea with my pal Simon.

He has a pal who is very good friends with Gabby Giffords... and this pal, Brad ( who I know too, as he used to be the president of my homeowner's assoc.) is with Gabby in Houston. He is helping her with some of her speech therapy. While she still has a tracheotomy the speech therapists still want her to continue to form words and move air out of her mouth as it's extremely beneficial.

The speech therapists want words that start with "B" as they really push the most air out of the lungs.

Brad is teaching her to say "Bullshit" so that when she gets back to Congress she'll be ready to deal with all of those greedy people on The Hill.

True story... except my embellishment about the greedy people comment. Here's to distinguishing my disdain for greedy bastards by throwing some positive joo joo out there and speading some good news about a politician we actually like and care about.
