Good Men.

So...

My buddy Kurt checked in on me today. We hadn't chatted for a couple weeks.. good to hear him perking up more and more.

And a couple hours later I get a  call from my buddy Noah.. he was the contractor that did the work under the house after the concrete was done. He wanted to know how the plumbing held up and I told him it was frozen solid so I have no idea... he asked of I had heaters on and and then offered to come over and fire up one of 'em.. I said it was ok in here... he called back later and came over anyways. He fired up the heater in the bedroom so the room is actually moving towards bearable. The big challenge is to make sure it's venting properly and actually shutting off when it should.

I can embellish a bit or I can tell the truth. I am a little oogie about it and am going to monitor for headaches.. wooziness etc just in case there is any carbon monoxide issues .  Good to be cautious. And to be honest... good to be a little more comfortable. Here's to hoping it's all good...

Just like my awesome guy friends. Who I am grateful for in every way.

Yay, Noah!!

Any hardware store should have a CO detector, make a note to grab one next time you're in town. That will let you know QUITE loudly if there are any issues with the heater...

I was gonna tell you to get one too. We have two one by each old gas heater. They haven't gone off yet. And man I bet you are loving that heat! I was so sad to see your latest heat report that you are living with, when it got super damn cold. Hope you are getting WARM finally.
