In true Bisbee fashion we showed up ready to be somewhat ridiculous and appreciate the good music set before us. Kim Hilliard opened the night with a set of original tunes then we moved to some Fake Jan Awareness media... Viewing Geri Reicshel singing "Your Song" and that song carried through the evening as an anthem and theme till 10:00 pm!
That included karaoke to "Your Song" by Cobban and then by Gretchen!

And then Melissa stepped up and melted our faces off with her fingers of fury guitar mastery! Holy Crap! That lady knows how to shred! Mother of Gawd!
The craziness culminated with Melissa's dance version of "Your Song" and a dance floor that filled up quickly and very enthusiastically! Gotta love Bisbee for the enthusispasm!
The night was a truly a fun one, and the town is getting behind Fake Jan Day 2012. We had some wonky technical issues that had a phonecall to Geri Reicshel hard to understand but knowing that she was on the phone and behind the efforts to do this fun event here in Bisbee was pretty cool. She also said she was watching the show from the live stream on ustream.
Ahhh... Bisbee!
