pretty much raw.

I decided a couple days ago to try and eat raw foods for a bit to give my gizzards a break. Break out the juicer and start chopping that salad! It's just a temporary thing..  I'm sure it can't hurt to give my body a nice respite from  anything processed.

I know... the question is... what about your coffee??

Silly... of course I'm drinking my coffee!

I hate my life without my morning fix! You'd hate me too...

So, lots of good apples, pineapple, greens, and such going on over here. And at the Poco it's a grapefruit and perhaps a little avocado.. I think it was inspired by going to the acupuncturist. Simplicity in all this stuff. Honoring the body and all it's intricacies and such.

There's an inner shift happening over here. A genuine quieting down. I dunno what is considered middle aged or anything like that... and I'm certainly not trying to say I have any true wisdom after only 45 years on this planet... I think what's probably truer is that I am honestly living my life for me, happy to be in Bisbee, happy to have my mom close, grateful to have a job, and I think it's a matter of finally feeling like all that shite from the chaos of the house is behind me. I finally made peace with all of that and now all this delicious gratitude has set in.

At least that's what I can assess this to be about. I don't want to think too hard about it... I just want to go with it. In my "Woo Woo Californian" way...

Good for you! Gregg and I did raw food for almost 5 months, I felt great, but it's not a lifestyle for me. When winter set in, missed cooked food and brown rice was at the top of the list! Good luck on this, as it's warm and sunny and wonderful here this time of year.

Isn't it amazing, the different perspective you have at 45 from a few years earlier? In a good way too. Glad it's not just me.
