7:57

The time I start this post? 7:57 a.m.

Even though I have forgotten to switch the posting time to MST from EST I am posting before 8. I am only 2 cups into the brown pony ride, but it's a nice cup and a lovely sunny morning here. Romy and Michelle's High School Renuion on in the background giving me plenty of laughs.

We got absolutely slammed last night at Poco! We had our local musician friend Dylan Charles play on the patio from 4 to 7 and we literally had lines out the door, sold more bottles of wine than ever, cranked out more "happy hour food" than ever and by the time the real dinner hour hit, we sold out of a few items and ran out of some service items!  We basically cranked from 4 to 8 non-stop and barely had time to look up at each other (it was only me, David (cheffy galore!) and Ed running plates, clearing tables and doing everything in between. When the dust settled, we all looked at each other in amazement and did a little high five thang.  To be honest, we didn't have time to think about the rush because it just hit and we had no choice but to handle it.

We all loved it!

This morning however there will be a bunch of stocking and catching up  to do as we were all whipped and fried and the thought of staying super late was really not a good option.  I'll tackle my part a little early this morning now that I feel rested.

Once again, Kelly (the boss) missed this one... as she is in NYC. I do think she would have loved watching all those people loving Poco for all the right reasons. It was a damn good time.

No clue what today holds.. just jumping in with both feet and trusting the day!

That's GREAT NEWS, sorry to have missed it, but I was in Tucson, and returned later afternoon yesterday.

Today PAT PANTHER sings the blues at THE GRAND. Have fun on your trip, we'll miss you!
