drip..drip..

Drip..

drip..

drip..

That has been the sound in the shower for a few weeks now. Crazy to be wasting water in this desert, and a bit annoying sonically. Well, yesterday I was finally able to get someone over to remedy the situation.

Kinda.

Apparently, there is going to be a trick to all of this drip stopping and I am waiting for the dude to come over and show me what this is. I am happy to shell out the $84.00 to stop the waste, I just wonder if I shouldn't be redoing the shower fixture instead of utilizing this new method?

More to be revealed for sure.

The big news today is that tomorrow is The Rapture!
According to some wacky religious sect, earthquakes and devastation will begin around 3 or 4 pm AZ time (6pm EST) and all of those who are morally and religiously right will be sucked up into heaven leaving the rest to basically rot in this hell on earth.

Well...
If this were to actually happen.. (and it isn't)
That means all of the judgemental wackos are going away and the rest of us can put out a few fires, rebuild a few cities and have a more peaceful existence without all of that hellfire and damnation, abortion hating, queer bashing, sect. Sadly there would still be a bunch of other religious fanatics left here.. and the tax exempt staus on churches will remain, as will the persecution of everyone who isn't paying to sit in church very week to be just like them.

Look, Everyone wants to fit in... but does it have to be at the expense of tearing others down, making them wrong for who they are and such?

I guess I just kinda did that by that entire last paragraph.

Oops.

No. We can't all just get along. But it's a nice thought.

POCO is hosting a "Last Supper" for The Rapture at 4 pm tomorrow. Come have drinks and good food and toast the "1st Annual End of Days" by leaving all of your worldly possessions with us! We will distribute to whoever is left after all the chaos clears. None of us are pure enough to be sucked up into the heavens (that's for damn sure!) so we are here to help out!

Also, Gretchen is having a kickass art opening at Sam Poe Gallery that evening at 6pm.  Not to be missed... it could be the last awesomely cool thing you see for a while if this Rapture shit goes down, so let it be on your immediate Bucket List!

And (of course) I leave the Pre-Rapture blog post with this:
