Got the love.

Last night as I had things strewn all over the house looking for the right chargers, while finishing up laundry and wondering what suitcase and gear to bring the phone rings..

First off, it's as much of a miracle as any catholic has ever seen that my phone would ring in my house and especially where it was sitting.But ring it did, and on the other end was my pal Lizzy wishing me luck on this tour.

And then at the hour of 5:21 in the am... a text.

Must be the east coast?

Nope... the one and only K.K.! Sending some tour love as well. I feel supported, loved,warm and squishy (I really should stretch... that last part can be corrected).

But here was my thought on the text...

Well documented scientific data has concluded that the typical North American K.K. (Alaskimaus Goofius Maximus) never rises before the hour of 8 am.. so I do believe someone needs to get a grant to restudy the K.K. as clearly the data is skewed.

And now it's stepping over piles of things laid out to possibly be packed, and partying with my BFF Jolene. Hopefully this trip will give this wee bloggy a bit of a bump in entertainment. And let's face it... I'm pretty boring and my day to day is tedious. Even my mom only reads it because then she doesn't have to pick up the phone and check in. Right Mom?

I'm going to get my bags packed... and then haul off to Tucson. Lunch with Mom is on deck finally, and a little provisioning in the big city. Gonna be a hot one... ready to face that and more!
