My uber groovy mom back in the day.
(don't think for a second I wouldn't KILL for that chair she is sitting on!!! )
I have so much gratitude for my mom. I almost don't have words. She is one of the best pals I have, She is my constant. She has always been there for me, to help me figure dumb stuff out or to watch me fail miserably and love me no matter what... and she has watched me shine and grow into a decent human being.
We wouldn't have this relationship if I weren't sober and hadn't learned some tools to communicate and clean up my side of the street. But my mom has been there to help me push that street cleaning broom more than once. And seemingly never more than the last couple of years as I went to the brink and back again.
We have seen some good highs and lows in our time on this planet together. I learn from you to this day how to be a good human being.
