My thoughts:
I was happy it was 60 degrees inside while it was 40 outside.
Damn I make a fine cup of coffee... if I do say so myself. (and I do often.)
Sad to have had to postpone the Mother's Day dinner.. but that's easy to reschedule.
I hated to miss the B52's!
I am grateful for my affordable dentist in Mexico and my pal Kelly who took me over the line to Agua Prieta.
I wonder if Kris Delmhorst will respond to my email about helping her out?
I have a shit-ton of progress to make today so I can grab primer and then pick a couple of colors.
All of these thoughts and more after my standard 4 jumbo cups of coffee and a bit of food since yesterday was kind of a bust on eating as I was worried about the tooth thingy and it was super sharp and damn near cutting my tongue. But I am super happy to report that the new filling is stupendous and the bite is perfect. I saved a couple hundred dollars yesterday. That goes a loooong way when you are trying to get back on your feet financially.
And now it's time to dig out some of the good hyper-motivating music and get to sanding and caulking again. The rebuild of the portion of the wall by the big front window only needs a bit more sanding. I won't be perfect, but I literally had to take parts from the other wall to splice it in, glue, patch, skimcoat and sand all of that
Oh and I have been staying up late with this:
The tenor ukulele that one of my neighbors (Ben) gave me when I mentioned wanting to find a uke. A sweet little Kala uke...I think they go for about 100 bucks... can you say "Nice Guy"?
