sand, patch more, primer paint.

I had to work a couple hours down at the wee Poco this morning so my paint day got a very late start. My disdain for the goat paths through the tiny house has me scooting the few things I did move back out around endlessly and I am about to throw my hands up in the air and restructure the goat paths. I am chasing my tail it seems on that one. I hope to paint till about 9 pm then make a space on the floor for some real stretching as my back is less than thrilled with all this ladder stuff as well as the over the head painting/caulking motion. I hope that the chiropractor gives me the go ahead to get back to yoga. I think that would be good.

It is super windy out there, and fairly cool. The windows are closed so I can get a good dose of paint fumes right now. Funny how fresh paint makes you realize how dingy it was. Of course the house got coated in all the hideous dust during this project and that accelerated the dingy factor for sure.

Let's see the progress:

This is the only wall repainted. I need to make sure I like the color.. I guess it's fine. The trim is not a contrasting color I picked, that is the dingy old yellowing white.

Dingy walls,  light green that the bead board ceiling is getting painted.

kinda looks like some huge creature is looking out from the bedroom!

I think that I will give up on the hope of getting this done before I leave at the end of the month. Maybe better to clean and straighten. At least focus on getting it all patched/sanded/caulked/primed now, and then just focus on paint when I return mid June.

It's dinner time. Vegan chicken thingys (Gardein brand)  in Frank's hot sauce with veganaise blended with horseradish in a flour tortilla with romaine. Yum! And damn near healthy.

Alright... time to eat and get a sweatshirt on.. it looks like it's gonna rain and get even cooler.
