I have these boys getting up and into the car by 8 am... And I'm down here drinking brown water billed as coffee, and eating some fruit. I am indeed on a tight schedule as I still need my shower. It's gonna be a drive day to Kentucky today. About 8 hours from where we are now in West Va..yesterday was a drive from NYC thru NJ in PA then down throughout the tip of MD, and into West Va. All of that accomplished in a less than 11 hour total drive time. Not bad..
The word so far on my services is a big thumbs up, but yesterday was pretty cake-like.
I am bunking with Chuck Palmer the percussionist and he told me the guys kind love the hell outta this tour manager thing. Ummm.... Yay!
My pal Rockie is going to be meeting up with me in Bisbee when I get back and hanging for a bit... Through summer or ??? Be good to see her and kinda do what my pal Cathryn did for me by letting me land and decompress in Hilton Head. I may not have liked the town, but I love that woman. And she kicked my ass when I needed it.
I don't have any ass kicking in me, but I do have a wee house with a cool town of incredible people to share. This is my "Pay it Forward" moment I guess. I don't have much, but I have plenty to share.
