The tale of the split.

It may not seem like much. A mere fifteen degrees. But when summer is the bee in your bonnet because you refuse to let go of your Southern California roots, then it's everything.

The difference between a day in the mid 90's and a day of 110 is huge! Hence, my gratitude for Bisbee beams out of me like an free and loving air conditioner to the world at the news that we are on the lower end of that split, and Tucson is the high range. Don't get me wrong, it'll be hot as hell in POCO. Swamp cooling is not that effective when battling forces with a grill/fryer and some sunshine in this part of the world. But it's not a blistering 110 degrees. I know the even higher temps are coming too. But we have a secret little comfy world down here.. Bisbee seems to be looking at just under 100 for the next few weeks.. and then of course comes the rain. Let's not forget the monsoon season that is fast approaching.

The day holds an unplanned for day at work which is fine as I am leaving Friday for Nashville. So instead of my one day work week it's two. But I now need to do my phone switch after work in Sierra Vista otherwise it won't get done. And I am pretty sure I need to do Verizon at this point. It's more expensive, but the coverage is better. And to be honest, I am hoping for more touring and I need better coverage. It will all work out just fine.. but I know that I do want to be a total package tour manager and that includes being able to do my job wherever and whenever and cell phone coverage has become a staple of doing business in today's world. And since I am choosing to now re-enter that world after totally checking out, I gotta step up.

Hey Wendy,
Sorry to hear we will miss you at POCO this weekend. We're heading down tomorrow - and yes it's disgustlingly hot in tucson. We're hoping the smoke isn't too bad down in Bisbee. Maybe we'll drop by your house to say bye? Glad your picking up more touring work - that's awesome!
Take care...Carly, Damian & Sage
PS I think verizon is definitely the way to go :)
