Spinning platters on this stunning morning.

I have fired up the turntable and am currently listening to  "Cha Cha Arthur Murray's Music for Damcing" while in my mind I'm picturing my mother teaching people to dance to this in Hollywood back in her younger days. It's a bunch of fun music for sure. I could see me spinning it at a groovy party. But I doubt anyone would dance to it the way it was meant. I think it would just be killer background stuff.

But what if all the sudden a few people DID start dancing the cha cha? Revealing the fact that they had secretly been taking lessons somewhere? That would be pretty cool too!

It's a faboo 64 degrees outside and I have the front door open and the windows on the back side of the tiny house open for a very slight and refreshing cross breeze. I generally leave everything closed so the neighbors don't have to totally listen to all the music I play. But I know the whole immediate canyon can hear everything all of us does anyhow, so I have it at a respectable level this morning.

A nice civilized start to a day that will have me re-watching a movie I saw and loved in the theaters called "Machete" for a mid day treat then possibly wandering down into town to listen to some music later (weather permitting).
