and so it begins..

Up on the 4th floor... there has been an incident..

I'm not saying it was ghosts... and I'm not saying it's not. But the room Carlos is in (and he's the most scared of anything ghost related..) has has what might be the first haunted happening.. his remote control was was far away from the bed when he woke up...

Cue the creepy music.

I wonder what will be next?

Next actually is a 40 mile drive to a community college gig in about an hour and a half. Out true demographic on this run is the 3rd 4th and 5th graders... hands down. Younger and they get too distracted.. but they do love it! And they are the best screamers.

We drove around for about a half hour looking for a decent place to eat today in Davenport... and ended up much like Natalia and I did when we came through this area... with substandard food and a desire to flee. It makes it hard to stay fed the way you want to be eating when there are next to no options...

Love the groovy food that is uber healthy when you can... do the best you can when you can't find it.

It's late in the game now, but try Exotic Thai, Gansons (in Moline), Cafe Fresh, Mama Comptons, Lemongrass Cafe, Noodles & Company, and Atlante (both Rock Island). Lunardis and Antonellas are both local Italian places - maybe not as light, but the quality is excellent.

And Greatest Grains - a local natural foods store with a fantastic deli - not too far from St. Ambrose
