Flying off to Southern California in the morning to make some connects and see Elbow. Can't wait! I'm still suffering from a nasty sinus headache throughout the days but I guess I need to suck it up and just move forward. I am on a diet of Elbow in my ears, coffee in my gullet, and happiness in my heart.
The day today will be spent getting a few things in Tucson together and hanging with the mom a bit with a ping pong date later in the evening to make sure my happy quotient is high enough to go make my time in the homeland a good one. The after concert festivities apparently include hanging with a bunch of cool chicks ( in so cal that can be a bad thing...) and going out. I warned my host that I was pretty sedate... she seems to think I am up to this challenge.

The trip to Bakersfield/Tehachapi will be too quick to get enough visiting with my pal Glo, but I'll take what I can get. Don't wait to get in front of those you love to SHOW THEM how much they mean to you! I mean Glo is in her mid to late 80's... how much time do I really have with this dear friend? As much as I can get... that's how much.
