Why little metal beads you ask?

Because that is what my clumsy ass self took a wee spill on at the factory gig we did!

"What the hell?"

I know... I know.. it was in super slow-mo and I'm fine but did get a couple good scrapes and a tiny bump on my heed. The beads were smaller than bb's and I didn't even see then! That the low point of my day. And it really wasn't that low! Although as I went down I hoped my back wouldn't get tweeked. And it didn't. Yay for me!

It's a bit cold here in Iowa tonight with 47 degrees happening right now. Predicted to get down to about 36 tonight. I hear it's also been cold at night in Bisbee. Probably kinda close to the same. It's kinda fun to be back in a layer of clothing.  Have a Rocky movie on in the background and waiting for Dave to call for me to go fetch him from a recording studio thingy he needed to do for some urgent projects back in NYC.

Getting kinda familiar with the Davenport area again..... drove by the Hooter's that Natalia Zukerman and I had bfast at a couple years ago, and drove by the casino she got refused entrance to because she looked too young... (lucky girl!) Makes me miss my pal NZ, but I'll bump into her eventually as we have had a few close calls in getting a chance to visit. Including a near miss in Iowa just this past Sunday when she was playing with Janis Ian in Iowa City. But I was 2.5 hrs away and my flight got in late in the evening. Next time...

Going to work on my travel stuff for October... and need to go fetch Dave now as he is done in the studio.
