While I didn't leave the house yesterday, I cranked out some killer vegan deliciousness! Yes, off the road means eat right! And it means super thick and perfect cups of coffee (no holds barred on the stoutness) and damned if I didn't have the windows fogged up with all the cooking (heating the house while making food..) and the wacky temperatures inside and outside of the house. Right now I have temporarily stopped listening to Anais Mitchell's new cd "Young Man in America" to give a disco mix a spin..

Looks to be a sunny crisp day here in tiny town. I have a dinner thingy later with a neighbor couple and I'm gonna give the old leg a small workout and walk to the post office. It's doing much better. And I'm glad I chose not to take steroids to aid in the healing. Taking it easy has been a slow process, but I didn't really want the drugs. I only take them when I am in dire straights. And waiting this out proved to be a good move.
