While everyone waits anxiously to see what they got...

The real gift is my Mother Unit. Her birthday is Dec. 28th so THAT is cause for celebration! Holiday stuff lost its appeal many years ago, and went from a bah humbug thing to just not wanting to buy into all the hysteria and hype. I don't have kids, or religion. So what I do have is a mother who probably got shortchanged all her life by having a birthday too close to Christmas. But I celebrate her today as my true gift and my family.
